ERIC BRESLER (Producer)

Eric Bresler is the Producer/Director of acclaimed documentary Otaku Unite!, a feature-length examination of Japanese animation’s presence in the United States. After 60+ screenings at film festivals and conventions around the world, Otaku Unite! was released on DVD courtesy of distribution powerhouse Central Park Media in March 2006. It is currently available in retail outlets throughout North America. Eric studied film and video at Drexel University and has an impressive production resumé that includes such clients as MTV, VH1, and DUTV.

In addition to production work, Eric writes film reviews for TLAVideo.com, one of the largest DVD websites on the internet, as well as a weekly column entitled "On Film" for Philadelphia newspaper The Spirit. He hosts a weekly radio show dedicated to music from the Japanese underground on Philadelphia’s WKDU 91.7 FM and also runs TokyoNoRadio.com, a retail site specializing in music imported from Asia.
